Ghost was my stud puppy from the Sitka x Jackie litter, showing early promise as an out of the box gun dog with a sweet wiggling temperament, and quite handsome like his dad. Ghost spent his first three years predominantly in Michigan with Jon Peck. He spent several months in my home as a youngster, and is an easy house guest. I loved every minute with this boy, and when the opportunity came to bring him HOME to Washington, it was a no brainer.
As a year old youngster, Ghost was tackling South Dakota pheasants like he was an old pro. He quickly became part of the A Team with Sitka, getting running birds pinned, being honest and respectful of late season spooky wild birds, and retrieving with wonderful manners. Ghost has run in a few field trials and has done well. He hit the show ring as a two year old and has quickly turned heads and earned both of his majors in a big way. He won a 4 pt major during a Specialty weekend at just his second show, and then went on to win Best of Winners at the AKC National Championship in Orlando for his second major. He finished his Championship in style, going BOW for his THIRD major! The following show, he won two very competitive Select Dog placements in a solid lineup of a dozen male Specials for TWO GCH 5 point majors! After a COVID year off hiatus and a change of zip code, Ghost jumped back into the ring and quickly finished his GCH. He's now home to start learning the broke dog game to tackle the field trial world. Welcome home, Ghostito!
