Oliver was the pick pup from the Sitka x Vezeto's Rusti Romper JH litter, and he has lived up to the potential in his decorated pedigree and then some. From a young age Ollie was a stand out. He has his dad's bombproof, goof ball, fold in half wiggle personality around the house with drive to match in the field. Oliver showed his bold nature in the field early, tackling the SD prairie as a 10 week old pipsqueak to find pheasants with the adult dogs. He had a solid foundation in the bird dog game at Hideaway Kennels with Ben Garcia. From there he joined Brian Gingrich's string to have a successful juvenile career. He broke out easily as a two year old and will start running in broke dog stakes this Fall.
Oliver is a bird dog with an excellent nose, classic vizsla style on point, intensity down to his tail poof, a soft mouthed natural retrieve, and an affinity to water. He is eager to please, wicked smart, and ready to learn. Oliver is a true team player and very rarely tests boundaries.
Switching gears, Oliver had a fantastic start in the show ring! He easily finished his Championship with limited showing, winning his first major at the Rocky Mountain Vizsla Club Specialty Show. He has matured beautifully and is now working on his GCH when he's not out taking names on the Field Trial Circuit.
Much like his dad, Oliver's shining feature is his temperament. The boy has never met a stranger, never had a bad day, and has a nonstop wiggle butt that you just have to smile at. He has a bright future ahead, and we plan on giving him every opportunity to succeed!
