Meet River! River was our pick from Vixen and Reggies' Veggies. She was Radish from her litter, and was clearly our stand out from week 1. She was the resident escape artist that required me to ex-pen each gate of my yard, get creative in puppy pen defenses to keep her in, and try to outsmart a pup as she actively sought out adventure as a pipsqueak. She is a wonderful mix of her parents, is drop dead gorgeous, very driven in the field, and already showing her potential as a future Dual dog. She is exactly what I was hoping we'd get from our Veggie litter, and is showing her dad's strong mind, her mama's athleticism, and both of their sweet velcro temperaments. River is also my successful conversion of my sister Rachel to vizsla ownership, and lives with her two brittany fuzzy siblings here in Washington.
River is a natural, honest bird dog. She has a great nose and has been naturally steady from day one. She started her field trial career with a bang! Her first trial was also her first time in front of a horse, and the little pocket rocket WON the 11 dog Open Puppy stake. She consistently placed in most every puppy/derby stake she ran in, closing out her juvenile career with all her Puppy/Derby points towards her FC in horseback stakes. She easily finished her Junior Hunter in one double double weekend.
Switching gears to the show ring, River is also consistently in the ribbons. She is Dual pointed and only just starting her career. Ray and I have big plans for this talented little beauty!
